New Team Members!
Novice practices, both men and women, Monday's at 5:45pm, Wednesday's at 5:45pm and Saturdays at 10:45am. Meet at our practice location at least 20min before practice.
Paddling is fun, great exercise, an excellent way to meet other people, and free to all during our Rec Season!
Wear non-cotton, moisture wicking clothes (board shorts and a moisture wicking shirt is ideal. If it is overcast and cool a nylon jacket may be helpful). Bring water and a towel.
No experience is required, you just have to love being outside, active, and having fun. Simply read, print, and sign the release form and bring it with you to the rec practice.

Im loving the practice that I get to share with this great group of riders
Everybody is so competitive, This is exactly what I needed in my life because I found myself in the gym lifting weights all the time and started to lose that fun factor
Paddling is so fun and has really been in my family blood as my uncle teiva used to race in Tahiti for many years as a professional
Last night I really felt like my form was getting alot better and I could really notice the difference between paddles and stroke count
For those that know of my paddle my uncle gave me I will be recoating the varnish because I put too thick of a coat on and it wouldnt dry completely underneath so I removed the layer and began to sand

It has enhanced the quality of my life, both in the physical sense and friendship sense. Someone asked me a long time ago why I spent so much time throughout my life doing something that drains my finances. (this comment was made when I was living paycheck to paycheck) It's simple: your life's richness is not judged by material possessions. Rather I am abundantly wealthy by the quality of my friends, by my numerous happy experiences and by the eternal commadrie. That is the essence of being a Kai Eluan.
