Directions to the Race SiteFrom South or East San Diego, take I-8 to the Sports Arena Blvd. exit, make a right onto West Mission Bay Drive and continue on to West Mission Bay Drive ramp. Continue over the bridge and the parking lot will be on the left-hand side. From North San Diego, take I-5 to the Sea World Drive exit, make a right onto Sea World Drive and continue on to West Mission Bay Drive ramp. Continue over the bridge and the parking lot willbe on the left-hand side. |

Paddling is fun, great exercise, an excellent way to meet other people, and free to check out!
If you would like to give paddling a try, join us for a practice: Mondays & Wednesdays at 6pm, and Saturdays at noon.
No experience is required, you just have to love being outside, active, and having fun. Simply read, print, and sign the release form, and show up to the practice location with the form.

Kai Elua fundraiser: Natural Vibrations concert - April 5th at Riley's

Kai Elua is hosting a Natural Vibrations concert on Saturday, April 5th at Riley's Sports Bar, beginning at 7pm. This is the best pre-race-season party that Kai Elua has - with a great band, cheap beer, and paddlers everywhere.
We need every Kai Elua member to sell tickets. We need to sell 200 tickets to reach our goal. Tickets are $22, and are available now from Tanya Lifa (mslifa AT yahoo D0T com) or Heather Lifa (heddahz AT gmail D0T com). If you can commit to selling 5 or 10 more that would be fantastico!
11th Annual Valentine's Day OC-6 Massacre : Saturday, February 16th

You won't know the course, you won't know what canoe you'll be in, you won't know who you're paddling with, and you won't know what comes next. FYI... cheating is not condoned, but it is encouraged. Novice Orientation & Open Men Meeting

The Open Men's meeting is at Kahuna's on Friday, February 29th, 6pm.

- Jason Lane: First Place Bradley
That is 37 medals plus the Perpetual Trophy for Kai Elua OCC.
